In the new season, the Union of Russian Composers will present a cycle of daytime concerts “I am a composer!” For young listeners. They will be held on September 21, October 19 and November 23.

Three contemporary Russian composers – Elena Lebedeva, Alexander Tchaikovsky and Ephraim Podgaits – will perform the program from their own compositions and masterpieces of classical music.
Concerts will be held once a month, their goal is to acquaint young listeners with the works of classics and contemporaries, teach them to listen and understand the language of music. The program includes works of different eras and trends, viewers will hear the music of Baroque, romanticism and other styles.
The concerts will be accompanied by the chamber orchestra "Russian Chamber" of the Tver Philharmonic, the Yaroslavl Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra of the Novaya Opera Theater named after E.V. Kolobova and soloists Nikita Borisoglebsky, Ivan Pochekin, Nazar Kozhuhar, Ekaterina Mochalova, Maxim Salnikov and Dmitry Bulgakov.
“We hope that the cycle“ I am a composer ”will become for many listeners a road to a magical sounding world. It’s not necessary to become a professional musician, it’s important to just love music, ”said Anna Genina, the host of the concerts.
