The winter creative school “Class from the Maestro”, organized by Alisher Usmanov's charity foundation “Art, Science and Sports”, opened on February 4 in Stary Oskol. She united the leading Russian teachers in the field of musical art, who will give master classes to almost 100 children.

From February 4 to 8, almost 100 young performers will hold master classes in the direction of “Folk Instruments”. Such recognized masters of specialties as Yuri Dranga, Valery Zazhigin, Sergey Lukin, Irina Krutova will conduct classes in accordion, balalaika, button accordion, domra, as well as "folk vocals and choreography."
Master classes are held on the basis of children's music school number 5. The best participants selected by teachers will be presented to the audience at the gala concert of the project on February 8. They will perform with their mentors at the Stary Oskol Theater for Children and Youth. The beginning is at 14:00.
The “Class from Maestro” was first launched in 2015 with the goal of developing music education in Russia and introducing advanced technologies into the educational process. Over the years, the project took place in Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Moscow, Orenburg, Ryazan, Tambov and Yaroslavl regions. In 2020, the school is supported by the government of the Belgorod region.
