19-year-old American figure skater Nathan Chen won the Grand Prix final in Vancouver, gaining the sum of the short and long programs 282,42 points. The second place was occupied by the Japanese SEMA UNO (275,10), the third South Korean cha Jun hwan (263,49).
The only representative of Russia in the singles competition, the Grand Prix final 31-year-old Sergei Voronov took the last sixth place (226,44).
“At random turned out not all. Error? Yes, was admitted, all you need to perform, – told ravens reporters. – I think, to get to the final is a decent result. Chen became a two-time winner of the Grand Prix finals, before he won the final tournament of the series in 2017. Also he has the gold of the 2018 world Cup and the championship of four continents – 2017. At the Olympic games in 2018 Chen became the fifth.
Note that in the final of the Grand Prix was not able to attend the double Olympic champion Japanese Yuzuru the Han. He made it to the finals series, winning two Grand Prix stages, but at the tournament in Moscow, the Japanese aggravated a leg injury and withdrew from the competition in Vancouver.
