The second Moscow book festival “Bukinist” was launched in Moscow, on Novy Arbat, on February 1. This year it will last until December 6th. Visitors will find master classes and lectures, readings and meetings with writers.

More than 150 thousand publications will be exhibited for book lovers during the year. Festival guests will be able to see both novelties and rarities. There are 14 pavilions at the sites, on the first day they put up for sale more than 45 thousand new and used books.
The main emphasis is on fiction, children's and scientific-cognitive literature. Among the participants of the marathon are well-known publishers, bookstores and websites.
Visitors will find not only an exhibition of books, but also a large-scale cultural program. They will be able to meet with writers, attend lectures and literary readings, take part in master classes on creating piñata, postcards, and collages. In addition, concerts and theatrical performances will be held as part of the festival.

The Bukinist was first held in Moscow in 2018, then it lasted almost five months (from July 20 to December 13), more than 500 thousand people visited it.
