Two more Russian nuclear test monitoring stations stopped transmitting data

It is specified that one station is located in Bilibin, the other – in Zalesov. At the same time, the station in Ussuriysk continues to function normally.

Earlier (August 10), information was no longer transmitted to the stations in Dubna and Kirov.

The organization refused to comment on the reasons for the termination of data exchange. However, on August 18, Secretary of the CTBTO Commission Lassina Zerbo posted on Twitter an image showing the possible path of inert gas distribution after an accident at a landfill in the Arkhangelsk region.
