The monument of federal importance has more than two centuries of history. The central estate ensemble includes the main manor house, the arena, the Church of the All-Merciful Savior of the mid-19th century, a pavilion with dovecot. Volyshovsky Park is a monument of Russian park art with a complex pond complex, rare species of trees and shrubs. Grigory Stroganov was the guardian of the children of Alexander Pushkin and a great-uncle of Natalia Goncharova.
The manor is in emergency condition, the buildings need repair, conservation and emergency response work, cleaning and clearing the park. In 2018, the roof of the count house burned down in a fire.
In September 2018, the head of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov, signed an action plan for the revival of the estate, which is designed for the years 2018-2024. Among the points of the plan is the organization and conduct of the Stroganovfest annual volunteer camp.
The works carried out this year will be: clearing the area, restoring the roof of the main stable, repairing the facades of the pigeon house (gazebos). Volunteers will be engaged in clearing the area of debris and overgrowth, will monitor the status of the estate and photographic images, will help professionals to repair the roof on the building of the main stables of the ensemble.
Camp shift will last two weeks. In addition to the work at the facility, a rich cultural and educational program was prepared for volunteers, in particular, excursions, music festivals and practical exercises with specialists on the protection of monuments for university students in the architectural and restoration direction.
